Reconnect Retreats
Reconnect is an experiential day retreat for people who care for others to learn and experience ways to reconnect and return home (into our natural state of homeostasis), reconnecting the mind, brain and body.
You will learn about internal and external mechanisms of the nervous system. Understand what occurs when the nervous system is experiences high levels of stress, trauma and secondary trauma. And you will learn and apply practical ways to reconnect the mind brain and body through nature, the body, sound, rhythm, and movement.
In this retreat, you will:
- Learn how the mind, brain and body experience stressful/traumatic events whilst caring for others.
- Learn how to support your mind, brain and body to let go of experiences and reconnect.
- Learn internal and external mechanisms of the nervous system at play during stressful/traumatic events.
- Create your autonomic nervous system roadmap.
- Learn and experience ways to reconnect in and with nature.
- Learn and experience how to facilitate stillness in the mind, brain and body.
- Learn and experience sound to support relaxation, releasing and renewing energy.
- Learn and experience easy movement activities to integrate the mind, brain and body.
- Reflect, connect and share experiences.
This retreat is facilitated in small groups, over 6 hours – 9.30am to 3.30pm (with breaks for morning, afternoon tea and lunch). Times can be flexible for group bookings.
Your investment is $300 per participant. This includes the retreat, a reflections booklet, take home resource with a light snack, tea, coffee and water for morning and afternoon tea. Please bring your own lunch or you might like to order prior and have your lunch delivered.
It is important to advise when booking if you are pregnant, have untreated epilepsy, a pacemaker or stent as we will accommodate other activities for you during the sound sessions.
